The MAZI project is part of the Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation (CAPS) initiative. Funded through the EU’s H2020 framework, collective awareness platforms include several areas, such as collaborative consumption, getting facts/evidence from citizens for better decision making, driving sustainable behaviours and lifestyles, or developing alternative collaborative approaches to problem solving.
CAPSSI
The CAPSSI initiative supports CAPS project activities, and aims at designing and piloting online platforms creating awareness of sustainability problems and offering collaborative solutions based on innovative networks of people, ideas, services and technologies enabling new forms of social innovation. CAPSSI supports environment-aware efforts, grassroots processes and practices to share knowledge, achieve changes in lifestyle, production and consumption patterns, and set up more participatory democratic processes on a global pan-European scale.
